Our mission is to provide equal access to structured physical education.
We are a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides a subsidy benefit towards structured physical training activities to those with demonstrated need. We believe in universal access to physical activities that focus on mastery empower the participant and provide significant health benefits. (1, 2, 3)
These are activities that require the participant to commit to regular practice in order to progress in ability and skill over time, such as martial arts or dance programs.
We subsidize ongoing reduced cost memberships through a scholarship program, and partner with local businesses and compassionate knowledgeable instructors to provide low-cost self-defense classes and workshops, designed to empower victims of violence and trauma, (4) offering paced training catered to their unique needs and situations.
